Bachelor Energy and environmental technology - Hochschule Kempten

Key technologies in energy technology and procedural fundamentals are treated as the basis for environmental applications. These studies are based on the analysis of technical components during we learn how complex energy systems can be optimized. They also attach great importance to imparting current methods - often computer-based - e.g. in numerical simulation, process control or construction with CAD.

Erasmus Program Energy Technology - Høgskulen på Vestlandet

In this program, I've chosen 4 courses: Hydrogen Technology, Gas Technology, Ocean Renewable Energy, Solar Technology & Design. With Hydrogen Technology, I can explain the most important methods within hydrogen production, distribution, and consumption and I can perform overall energy calculations regarding the use of hydrogen as an energy carrier. Gas Technology was about the natural gas industry from well to market and an introduction to biogas production. Ocean Renewable Energy was about to qualitatively describe the wind, wave and tidal resources and understand appropriate quantitative statistical models and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various ocean energy technologies, distinguish their respective advantages and disadvantages and communicate underlying physical limits and scientific theories. Calculate power output and loads for typical marine energy devices. Combine resource data with power calculations for estimating energy yield. Solar Technology & Design give me an understanding of how photovoltaic and thermal panels harness energy along with other solar energy harnessing technologies. I performed initial design studies with overall calculations for structures and devices whose form and function will benefit from solar energy.

Bachelor thesis at ZSW
At Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) my bachelor's thesis deals with issues relating to the commissioning and operation of a screen printing system for applying seals to fuel cell bipolar plates. Of particular interest here are which materials are suitable for the screen printing process and how they behave in real operation in the fuel cell.

Internship Project Development/ -engineering at TRICERA energy
Support in innovative project ideas for battery systems, use cases and marketing strategies of battery storage alone for peak-shave or control power, in combination with renewable energy (wind, agri-PV, freestanding PV). Contribution also to battery communication tests on the sites, Finding and solving these problems.

Voluntary Ecological Year
I did a lot of things in the field of Biotope and landscape management, supported Environmental education with children and young people, offered my help in organic viticulture and fruit production, Crafts, such as building nesting aids.
December 2015
Internship in a Fablab
The internship was for one week and the objective was to discover the professional world. I chose a Fablab because I was interested in the founder’s world. I learned how to use a 3D printer, laser cutter and the modeling software.

I am proficient in the main Microsoft Office applications. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Solidworks
I know how to model and simulate assembly to do an object study.
Matlab
I master the code on Matlab and Simulink. I learned the technique of regulation and make mathematical models of differential equations.
